Mini-Me is a personal assistant that runs entirely on the user's own computer. This policy explains what it does with your Google account data when you connect Gmail to it.
What Mini-Me accesses
When you connect Gmail, you allow Mini-Me to:
- read your email messages and their details, to sort them and understand what needs a reply;
- create drafts and send replies from your account: drafts are prepared for you, and a reply is sent only when you click Send, or under strict rules you switch on yourself (for example, a short reply to a colleague, with a cancel window);
- archive messages or move them to Bin, only when you choose to clean your inbox (never permanent deletion).
How the data is used
Your email data is used only to provide these features to you. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with anyone, except as described under "AI processing" below. No person reads your email.
AI processing
To sort emails and draft replies, the text of a message is sent to the AI provider you chose in Mini-Me's settings (for example Google Gemini), using your own API key, solely to produce that result. It is not used by Mini-Me for any other purpose.
Where data is stored
Everything Mini-Me keeps (message details, drafts, settings) is stored only on your own computer. Your Google sign-in token and API keys are encrypted with Windows' built-in encryption, tied to your Windows account. Mini-Me has no servers and no copy of your data exists outside your PC.
Your control
You can disconnect Gmail in Mini-Me's settings at any time, and you can remove Mini-Me's access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting Mini-Me's folder from your computer deletes all its data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Mini-Me's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
